Three New Cars added, Two Updates and One Old Picture

Hi All,

We have three new entries to the roster, an update on two cars that recently sold at auction and one great new period picture. It's the 3...2...1 update :)

First up is this Alpine white example from Norway, Body #1790 with a black & white interior and black top.

Our next car was spotted in Longview Texas over 13 years ago and hasn't been seen since! This one is finished in Starlight silver with a full red interior. If anyone has more info on this car please contact me.

More pics of this car can be seen over on the Starlight silver page,

The last car in this update was spotted at a body shop undergoing a restoration in L.A. We don't have a picture of the car but an alert follower of this roster did get a pic of the body tag for us. It's body #692 finished in Alpine white with a red and white interior and a white top.

Two cars on the roster recently sold at auction,

Body #1808 sold for $100k after being on the market for a while.

Also body #1531 sold at the same auction for $147,500.

Our last feature in this update is this great period picture from Hollywood. It looks to be around 1958. This shopping center is still there but unfortunately the Bahama Blue 1956 Biarritz is not :)

In this close up view we can see that this car was equipped with an autronic eye. With the windows left open, it seems that the owner wasn't worried about the car. Much different times I guess :)

Thanks to Cadill-Ikes director Jim Jordan for sharing this picture over on the period picture thread located on the Mid Century Cadillac forum

As you can see, another full update brought to you with the help of enthusiasts from around the globe. Thank you for the support and please keep the info coming!
