The Spectacular Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz

In the two years since the Eldorado was first introduced by Cadillac, it has won itself a unique place in the hearts of motorist everywhere. Though the Eldorado name originally designated only the convertible model, it will include for 1956 both an open and closed car. The first of these- the spectacular Biarritz- is a true achievement in advanced design and engineering. Its high-sweeping fender lines... its beautiful grille and rear bumper assembly ... its unique "disappearing top" ... its special "Sabre - Spoke" wheels ... its special hood ornament ... its chrome ribbed saddle molding ... and it's many special color options ... give it a beauty all its own. To add still greater glamour, the Biarritz is available with gold wheels and a gold grille. And the Biarritz is powered by a special 305- h.p. Cadillac engine, and offers Cadillac's most advanced features of engineering throughout. In every way, it is a true masterpiece of Cadillac craftsmanship.

Two New Additions and One has Factory A/C.

Hi All,

This update is full of Biarritz goodness. Enjoy!

We have two new additions to the roster. Both were listed for sale on Ebay recently.

First up is body #1961. The body is rusty and the engine won't turn but there is something about her that says "Save Me!"

Next up is this factory air conditioned Biarritz that also turned up on Ebay. It's a major project car with a great head start. The body is rust free. I'm happy to report that a friend of mine is now the owner of this Eldorado and the car will call Wisconsin home. Don't let the red paint fool you. This car was originally Emerald green and will be restored to the original color.

Here is a trio of pictures that just scream 1950's Americana. The All American Indian Days Parade was held annually in Sheridan Wyoming from 1953 to 1985. It doesn't get much better than this. Parades and Eldorado's galore! :)

That's all folks. Once again, thank you for all of the contributions to this roster.
